Today I will talk about the Google workforce tools also called the productivity tools. These tools include Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google drive, Google forms and so on. But today I will primarily focus on the tools mentioned above.
You must know about the Microsoft office suite which includes Word, Excel, Powerpoint. You must have used them in your life at some time. These tools are very useful for you whether you are a student, a working professional, or do a business.
What If I say that all of these are available online and for free. Since you need to purchase these Microsoft suites at a very high price. These tools from Google are absolutely free. By using these tools you can create documents in them, even share them online to others and others can edit and you can see what others have added on a real time basis. This is the beauty of these tools. For this you just need a google account. Now lets have quick look at these tools one by one:
- Google Docs: You can say it is an online version of MS word. All the things you can do on the MS word you can easily do with the Google Docs and no software installation is required; all you need is a web browser and a Google account. You can also share the document you had created with google docs with others and also enable and disable them to make changes to that document online.
2. Google Sheets: Google Sheets is an online version of MS Excel. You can do all the work you do on the MS Excel on the Google sheet. You can create sheets, use formulas in them, create tables etc. everything you can do with the Google sheets. You can share with others like you team members with restrictions on who can edit or who can readOnly. You also have features to add restrictions to the cells which are editable and which are not. You must use it, you should love it.
3. Google Slides. Similar to Google Sheets, Google Slides is the online version of MS PowerPoint. You can create awesome slides with Google Slides without needing to install MS PowerPoint on your system. You have tons of themes and templates to create the slides for your work. Like other tools you can share it with others and others can make changes to your slide.
4. Google forms: Google also provides the facility for you to create a form., a fully customizable form and give you a link for that form and that you can share with others who can fill it. You will then get a response from the Google form in Google sheet. It is awesome right. You can create your form without any knowledge of the programming.
5. Google drive: The Google drive is like your hard drive. In the Google drive you can create a folder, add files to these folders and share with others through google mail or through links. It is like an online hard drive for you. And with every google account you can get 15 GB of storage.
You can access these tools by just searching their name on the google or you can also see them by clicking on the account icon of the Google account you have logged in. This is also illustrated on the given image.
There are a lot of other Google Workforce tools which you can use. But these are one of the most productive tools which you can use in your daily life and be more productive in your work. You must give them a try and you will enjoy working with these tools.
